I’m finally legal!

Man!!! 21 years went so fast for me! It’s so hard to believe that I’m finally legal. It really does seem like yesterday when I first started school and I would cry my little eyes out and scream my little head off because I didn’t want to leave my mama.  Then it flashed forward to when I graduated high school and then with a blink of an eye, I’m 21! Goodness, I better not blink anymore. Haha!

I had a real quiet birthday which was real nice. I was able to celebrate with both of my parents, my 2 brothers, and my best friends. Some of you might be thinking why I didn’t go out and party all night long like regular 21 year olds, honestly though, I’m not that type. I didn’t want to go and get drunk and be miserable the next day because of being irresponsible. I just wanted a daiquiri and to sit back and relax for my birthday.

The day before my birthday, my older brother Joey invited my daddy, my other brother Nick, and I to come over and have a swim party. It was so much fun! What made it even better was right in the middle of our tiny party, my 2 best friends, Claudia and Angelica, came and surprised me. I had no idea they were coming!

After the swimming party, we all went to my dads house and my friends, my brother Nick, and I played Cards Against Humanity… I do not recommend you play this game with any family member, just because this game is just really bad and can get awkward… With that being said, my friends and I had the best time with that game! Haha! Before that though, I did a little photo shoot of my friends. I loved how the pictures came out!

Besides having a “Real” strawberry daiquiri, taking pictures of these beautiful girls was the highlight of my birthday. I love taking photos of people because everytime I get behind that camera, I get creative and I get very funny. I try to make you laugh when I’m taking photos because the best smile to me is a real happy and big smile.

I snuck in a beautiful picture of my little nephew Cohen. He is such a smart, funny and creative little boy. I love that boy so much!

Sunday, the day of my birthday, I celebrated with my mama. She surprised me with Strawberry Daiquiri’s and boy were they good! She fixed me my favorite meal, baked pasta, with fresh herbs and homemade sauce… Yum! It was so good! After our lunch, we had the BEST strawberry cake. (I am going to turn into a strawberry one day… Oh well! What can I say, I love strawberrys!) My mama got me a beautiful pandora bracelet with charms already on it. One charm is a “21” and another one is a heart with my birth stone in it. She also made me a beautiful huge wine glass with rhinestones on it. My Aunt Mary Lynn got me a elephant charm to go on my new bracelet. It is beautiful!

All in all, this birthday was a very good quiet one. I can’t wait to see what year 21 has in store for me.

“A birthday is just another day where you go to work and people give you love. Age is just a state of mind, and you are as old as you think you are. You have to count your blessings and be happy.” – Abhishek Bachchan
